Hello and welcome to my little BOINC Stats Counter site hosted by Vidahost.com

This is the BETA site for boinc.mundayweb.com - you can sign-up: here or by e-mailing me.

I created this site for the many thousands of crunchers around the world. The site basically retrieves your stats from the project's servers to create user and team graphics similar to the ones shown below:

My service caches your results so that you never see anything like "unable to connect to server" or "server error". All of the public BOINC projects are supported (see below for further details).

The site allows you to:

  • Administer ALL of your BOINC stats graphics from one site - you no longer need accounts at each mini-site,
  • Provides a user graphic to display statistics of ALL your BOINC projects,
  • Provides a team graphic to display statistics of ALL your BOINC projects,
  • Provides a user graphic for each of your BOINC projects,
  • Provides a team graphic for each of your BOINC projects,
  • Choose the background colour,
  • Choose the border colour,
  • Choose text colour,
  • Choose a background image (optional),
  • Choose to only show projects with RAC greater than zero,
  • Choose to only show your top N projects,
  • Choose to have a wide or standard image, depending on the number of projects you have,
  • Add your stats graphic to your Facebook profile at BOINC Facebook,
  • Get your BOINC stats on your Windows, MAC OS or KDE desktop via BOINC Desktop, and
  • Decide whether the background is transparent or not. As the latter is decided by an option in your URL, you can have transparency on for one site and off for others. It's up to you!

Donations

Due to the large number of image requests, the bandwidth on my web hosting account is being used up extremely fast and as a result, the site may be down once the bandwidth has gone for a given month. It has never been my intention to charge for service at all as a fellow open source software developer. Any donations that are received will be used to support the site and not for financial gain.

Updates (recent)

Stats update schedule changed - Wed, 11 Aug 2010 22:04:47 BST
Due to the large number of updates that the site now runs every day, I have had to cut back how often the stats are updated following feedback from my web host. As a result from tonight all projects will update once every 48 hours instead of once a day.

The site now supports 100 BOINC projects! Thanks to all those that have suggested new features, provided mirror space, found the odd "undocumented feature" (aka a bug), and of course, informed me about new projects to add.

Supported Projects:

Could you provide a mirror?

This site would not be able to operate and support the large number of users without the help of the people below. If you would like to provide a mirror you will need the following:

  • PHP 4.0 (at least)
  • GD library 2.0 (at least)
  • FTP access to allow me to upload the mirror scripts
  • Un-metered or large amount of bandwidth
